The Personal I.D. bracelet technology is one of several devices offered by Miles for Memories. The Personal I.D. bracelet is available to be worn by the person living with dementia, or their caregiver. It provides support for the person beginning with the earlier stages of dementia to continue to be active. The Personal ID bracelet securely stores the wearer%u2019s profile online, which can be accessed by first responders in five seconds or less. Anyone with a smart phone can scan the QR code on the backside of the metal part of the gray band from their phone%u2019s camera until a response button appears. Pressing the button will result with a new screen that identifies the person in front of them along with a red button to reach out to their emergency contact. Pressing the red button sets the action in motion. Details can be sent to the emergency contact%u2019s mobile phone and identified email address. Time saves lives. When scanned by a smart phone a G.P.S. location will be sent to the emergency contact. Options for turn-byturn directions along with the ability to share those details with other contacts in their smart phone are presented.The Personal I.D. bracelet, Nugget, and Caregiver Connection Key Chain are fully waterproof to prevent the need to be removed and never needs charging.
