is used to transition individuals home by providing on-site physical, occupational & speech therapies.
■ Therapists work with residents to help them restore their mobility & function, manage pain, and achieve outcomes.
■ Our goal is to increase independence with
daily tasks & to make sure residents recover quickly before returning home.

■ Restorative exercise includes riding the NuStep bike, using
the pulleys, and
walking on parallel bars.
■ Maintaining joint functions through simple movements is an important part of a daily routine.

September 2016 marked the fourth year of the Miles for Memories Community Stoll recognizing the needs of the person living with dementia as well as their caregiver. The leadership team has worked hard each year to identify the needs, develop programs and to increase the awareness of the community. They have been tireless
in their efforts to create solutions in Calhoun County.
At the Celebration event recently held in January the leadership team had an opportunity to recognize the efforts of volunteers and thank them for their many hours of dedication, to thank sponsors and donors, to provide a research update, to present an update on 2016 activities as well as identify the goals for 2017. To sum it all up quickly... it was a great year and there is so much more planned for 2017.

2016 education and fundraising events included the community research update and check presentation to MSU
for $9,000, the 4th Annual Ganton Golf Outing, 3rd Annual Rock-A-Thon Calhoun County Medical Care Facility, MOSAICS – Memories with BC Enquirer, the 1st Annual NorthPointe Woods Murder Mystery, Maplewood of Marshall Stroll, the 4th main event and Community Stroll in September, and the first Tailgate Party.
