Computer graphics coursework introduces students to concepts includ- ing computer networking and imaging, digital media creation, web design, video, audio, animation, and packaging. Advanced classes are geared toward students interested in mechanical or architectural design, graphic design, animation,video design, game design, and websites, among other careers.
Last but not least, Project Lead the Way (PLTW) courses provide Lakev- iew Middle and High School students hands-on learning and problem solving in engineering and biomedical sci- ence. Students are exposed to PLTW courses at each grade level where they use industry-leading technology to solve problems while gaining skills in communication, collaboration, criti- cal-thinking, and creativity. Students take courses in robotics and computer science with electives in biomedical science, human body systems, and advanced coursework in computer science principles.
