WHEN IT’S TIME TO SELL YOUR HOME
By: Tim Mitchell
Whether it’s because of retirement, the need to downsize, or a major life event, moving from the home you have lived in and loved for years or possibly decades can be one of the most difficult decisions a senior may face. It can feel like giving up
a part of one’s freedom or giving in to the fact that the maintenance responsibilities of home ownership have become overwhelm- ing. an assisted living facility a better option? What will be done with all your posses- sions? How do you get your house ready
to sell? Should you hire a real estate agent? And the list goes on and on.
