        GRANDMA’S TRADITIONS
This year, holidays will be different because it’s unlikely that we will be ‘trav- eling through the woods to Grandma’s house’ due to the continued pandemic. These recipes are some of ‘Grandma’s tra- ditions’ so you can still recreate the feast at your home.
GRANDMA’S CORNBREAD DRESSING
3 cups cornbread, crumbled (make 2 pack- ages of Jif Cornbread mix and let cool) 1-1⁄2 cups chicken broth
1⁄4 cup melted butter
butter; mix well and set aside. In skillet over medium heat, add oil and sauté onions and celery until softened, about 5 minutes; add to cornbread along with seasonings. Let stand about 15 minutes and then stir in eggs. Pour mixture into prepared dish and bake uncovered for 45-55 minutes. Serves 6-8.

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a large bowl, combine asparagus, oil, salt, and pepper and mix gently with your hands. For each bundle, wrap 3-4 stalks with a piece of bacon and lay on an ungreased rimmed baking sheet. Bake uncovered for 15-18 minutes or until asparagus is tender and bacon is crisp. Serve warm or at room temperature. Makes 4-6 servings.
