The Miles for Memories signature event is September 17 and there is something for everyone that is hoping to impact the trajectory of Alzheimer’s disease and to create solutions for those affected by dementia through movement, programming and research. The morning activities will kick off at 9am with a timed 5K walk and run, and the Community Stroll Celebration.
Come back in the evening for their first annual non-traditional tailgate party at Festival Market Square in downtown Battle Creek. The gates will open at 6:30pm for the 7:30pm start time of the Michigan State University and Notre Dame foot- ball game. Watch the game on the large outdoor screen complete with the fanfare of a more traditional tailgate. There is no charge to join them. Learn more starting on page 2.
