Enrichment Center
May is national Foster Care Appre- ciation Month. The Family Enrichment Center is excited to honor foster parents this month. As of March 2021, there are 11,418 children in Michigan in foster care. In Calhoun County, 280 children are in foster care with only 89 licensed homes. We desperately need more foster care homes.
The staff at the Family Enrichment Center would love to connect with you if you are interested in any of the following:
• Volunteering (though limited due to
COVID-19 restrictions)
• Donating (see their website to view
their wish list)
• Becoming a financial partner
• Becoming a licensed foster parent (call
1-855-MICHKIDS to speak to a Foster Care Navigator who can help you get started!)
