Share what you can do online with friends and family with a my Social Security account at www.socialsecurity. gov.With your personal my Social Security account you can:• Estimate what you could receive once you startcollecting benefits.• Request a replacement Social Security card.• Set up or change direct deposit.• Get a proof of income letter.• Change your address.• Check the status of your Social SecurityJanuary. It shows the total amount of benefits you received from Social Security in the previous year so you know how much Social Security income to report to the IRS on your tax return.
